[Série] Métal Hurlant Chronicles

De uma antologia francesa de Ficção Científica e Fantasia, a Metal Hurlant (ou Heavy Metal), nasce a Metal Hurlant Chronicles, uma série inspirada nas histórias de Metal Hurlant. A série televisiva terá o mesmo formato que a antologia, onde cada episódio corresponderá a uma história isolada num planeta diferente e com outro elenco.

Entre as muitas personalidades podemos contar com grandes nomes como Rutger Hauer, James Marsters, Michael Jai White, Kelly Brook, Scott Adkins, John Rhys-Davies, entre outros.

Se gostarem de naves espaciais, lutas contra robots, escravas aliens e todos os clichés que decoram o nosso género favorito, então não poderão perder esta série que irá para a segunda temporada. Podem pesquisar na Internet pela primeira.

Uma informação curiosa sobre a antologia, o artista Jean Giraud (Mœbius) participava activamente na mesma, se isso for um ponto positivo para vocês, então podem também pesquisar pela mesma.

From a French Sci-Fi and Fantasy anthology, Metal Hurlant (or Heavy Metal), we have Metal Hurlant
Chronicles, a series based on its published stories. The TV series will have the same format as the magazine, where each episode will correspond to an isolated story happening on a different planet and with a different cast.

To name a few, we have Rutger Hauer, James Marsters, Michael Jai White, Kelly Brook, Scott Adkins, John Rhys-Davies, among others.

If you like spaceships, robot fighting, alien slaves and every Sci-fi cliche, you can't miss this. Already on its second season, you can browse the Internet for the first season.

Another curious information about the anthology, the artist Jean Giraud (Mœbius) was part of it. If this is a positive point, then look for the magazine as well.

[Curta] Wheel of Time - Flight From Shadow

Estou há anos para começar a ler esta saga, mas a quantidade de volumes assusta-me, admito. Talvez o tempo passado a ler será equivalente aos anos que tenho adiado.

Não obstante, sem qualquer conhecimento, atirei-me de cabeça à curta Flight From Shadow, baseada num dos livros de Robert Jordan, "Wheel of Time".

Espero que gostem.

I've been postponing this saga for years, and the sheer number of books scares me. Maybe the time I'll spend reading will be the same as the years postponing it.

Regardless, I watched this short movie, Flight From Shadow, based on the Wheel of Time saga by Robert Jordan.

Mesmo não sendo o maior fã da saga Elder Scrolls, é impossível não ficar abismado com a qualidade deste trailer. Uma palavra para o descrever? Épico. The Arrival, o trailer onde a mulher prova que consegue fazer tudo sozinha.

Even though I'm not a fan of the Elder Scrolls series, it's impossible to not be astonished by this trailer's quality. One word to describe it? Epic. The Arrival, a trailer that leaves the woman to handle the situation.

Parabéns ao Per Nebulae (sim, é hoje!)

É estranho estarem a ler esta mensagem hoje quando já foi escrita no início do mês, mas há uma razão válida para tal: não quis deixar tudo para a última da hora, portanto escrevi logo a mensagem e coloquei em destaque para todos poderem ler; coloquei conteúdos na página do Facebook para não se sentirem perdidos e para não estar vazia. Vendo bem as coisas, é tudo para vocês! 

Só não tenho é espumante nem acepipes (adoro esta palavra) para celebrar, mas sentem-se, ponham os auscultadores e escolham o que pretendem ver: temos curtas, séries, imagens e, em breve, músicas, tudo à volta da temática da Ficção Científica e Fantasia. 

Se tiverem sugestões para conteúdos, quiserem expor o vosso trabalho de qualquer maneira, e eu agradeço porque as minhas fontes podem secar, enviem-nas para o endereço per.nebulae@gmail.com (até há um endereço personalizado!). Não sou omnisciente nem muito talentoso em muitas áreas, conto sempre com a disponibilidade de terceiros que perdem o seu tempo para me ajudar, a todos eles, um obrigado do fundo do coração.

Outra novidade para celebrar este aniversário prende-se com o facto de a maioria do conteúdo ser internacional. Muitas vezes agradeço ou felicito directores ou ilustradores sobre os seus magníficos trabalhos que disponibilizam e é uma pena virem ao blogue e estar tudo em português – dão meia volta e vão-se embora, mas agora o blogue passará a ser bilingue! Teremos a entrada em português porque é a minha língua mãe e depois, a versão traduzida em inglês porque é a língua do mundo.

Desta forma, todos poderão ficar aqui e fazer do Per Nebulae um ponto de referência.

Obrigado a todos os que me acompanharam em 2013, espero que continuem a visitar e que mais gente venha aqui parar!

Happy birthday, Per Nebulae! (yes, it's today!)

Isn't it weird reading this birthday message written almost a month before the actual date? But there is a valid reason for it: I didn't want to leave it to the last minute, so I wrote it as soon as the year began, I started uploading some content to the Facebook page so you wouldn't feel lost on an empty page. All in all, this is all for you!

The only thing I don't have is champagne and appetizers to celebrate, but sit comfortably, put your headphones on, and choose what you want to watch: we got short movies, series, art, and soon, music. And all this content related to Science Fiction and Fantasy.

Now, if you have any content suggestions, want to expose your work in any way, I truly appreciate because my sources will eventually dry. Contact me on per.nebulae@gmail.com (wow, a personalized mail!). I am not omniscient or very talented in a lot of areas, so sometimes I have to depend on others and their availability to help. To everyone who contributed in anyway, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Other news, in order to celebrate this anniversary decently, I announce that this blog is now bilingual. Since the majority of our content is in English and I talk with producers and artists to thank or congratulate them on their work, it's a shame for them to come here and find everything in a foreign language - so they turn around and leave. Not anymore! From now on, every post will be written first in Portuguese, then in English.

I now hope, everyone can stick around and help Per Nebulae grow.

Pois é, o Per Nebulae está a celebrar um ano de existência. Na próxima segunda-feira, dia 20 de Janeiro, faz um ano que escrevi a primeira mensagem nebulosa; que dei os primeiros cliques para formar este cantinho, que comecei a procurar curtas, imagens e toda a espécie de conteúdos que aqui vêem.

Já tive vários blogues ou sites de redes sociais, mas poucos tão especiais e memoráveis como este, o Per Nebulae. Em primeiro lugar, porque não era um blogue pessoal onde falava de mim nem da minha vida, mas um blogue temático para vocês; para os entusiastas de Ficção Científica e Fantasia como eu; para aqueles que queriam curtas, imagens para se inspirarem ou conhecer coisas novas. Admito que nesta aventura, também eu conheci imensas coisas.

Então é assim: cá estamos, um ano depois a celebrar um aniversário virtual onde não serei eu a receber as prendas, pois essas recebi durante o ano inteiro, mas vocês! E para arrancar esta semana de ofertas que vai durar até uma semana depois do aniversário, eis um anúncio especial!

That's right, Per Nebulae is celebrating one year of existence. On the next Monday, January 20^th, marks the year I wrote my first nebulous post; I made my first clicks to this space, started searching for the content you see here.

                I have had several blogs and social networks accounts, but none so special and memorable as Per Nebulae. For starters, this is not a personal blog where I talk about myself or my life, but a themed blog for you all; for those who love Science Fiction and Fantasy like myself; to those who want to watch short movies, art to be inspired or just to know new stuff — and I admit, thanks to this adventure I got to meet some very cool stuff.

                Getting to the point. One year later, and this is a virtual birthday celebration where I won’t be getting gifts (I got plenty throughout the year), but you guys will! And, to fire this giveaway week which will last one week after the date, here’s a special announcement!

                Per Nebulae is now on Facebook! It’s easier to follow what is being posted; one click to Like will keep you updated with the most recent content here or directly on your Timeline!
